Yes - Rob also suggested this but I do regularly change the Detail option
I don't believe I have ever changed the Display option. Also other
directories were showing up but not the one I was looking for.

Absolutely positive. The changed and used dates viewed in EDTF were from
a previous date.

Thanks Don

Don,

WRKLNK and EDTF have diff parms for selection.
For WRKLNK, what you chose in previous executions could inhibit your
selection.

Also, if these items appear in /tmp from some sort of processing, are you
sure that it was there on the first day you looked..?

Work with Object Links (WRKLNK)

Type choices, press Enter.

I had a problem yesterday where the cause is normally a directory in
/tmp
that is owned by a different profile - anyway this is not the issue.

I ran the command
wrklnk '/tmp/AO2387'
Nothing was found - Object not found. Object is /tmp/AO2387.
So I used wrklnk '/tmp/AO*'
This found other entries but not the one I was looking for..
Ok maybe my thought of what was causing the error was wrong.
Today I used EDTF - wanted to check the size of /tmp
So I ran EDTF STMF('/')
Then used 5=Display on the /tmp directory
The searched for AO in the Name column and to my surprise there was a
directory AO2387
There were about 250,000 files in the /tmp directory
Why does WRKLNK not find the file. (I was using a profile with *ALLOBJ
authority and the name was in uppercase)

Thank you for any responses.

Don
