Ten should be ok as usually a timeout rule defaults to 30mins,
but that depends on how many and which routers / firewalls are in between.

She can try to run a PING -T (as400-ip) in a command line window
to see if a firewall has a general timout rule or is dropping connections.

This also can happen if some router inbetween has issues with packets >1460b,
or thausand other reasons. Not easy to answer without knowing the
whole network.

The bandwith usually is not an issue for 5250, a modem would work the same :-)
It is not an IBM i problem, it is a TCP or tunnel problem.

If there was no connection drop when the PC was in the office and she remotely used
it, then the problem arose when they moved the PC to home, i would highly suggest
talking to the team setting up the remote VPN to your office if there
is a difference in parameters.

TCPKEEPALV is set to 10, but I hesitate to change it because of a previous issue - see here: https://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/202010/msg00120.html

Regardless, I have had a session up here at my house this afternoon for over an hour with no activity and have not been disconnected - and I only have 10mb DSL. The user in question has Google Fiber. I don't think it's an IBMi problem.
