I don't believe it's possible to remove a journal entry from a journal.
RTVJRNE will get journal entries based on some select criteria into
variables.
RCVJRNE is more for an exit program to receive the entries and be able to
react to them.

Look at the examples in ACS for getting journal entries with SQL. It's
much easier even for an SQL novice.
