WinSpool used Host Print Transform. 

You might be able to get CPYSPLF to work for you by playing with page properties on the print file, but I never had a lot of luck with that.

WinSpool (I worked at RJS until 2013 but don't have direct specific recall of how it worked) came out before IBM added PDF output to CPYSPLF
- several years, in fact.So it uses a different process for the conversion, hence, the result can be different. Other things that can differ due to page margins and printable area and stuff like that.

RJS was acquired by Help Systems some time ago, I don't know if they would respond to your questions. There are other solutions that converted differently, as well, MMAIL is one that now needs a small annual contribution. I think Host Print Transform is involved with MMAIL.

But just generally speaking, different process code can easily have different results.
