More to the point, the page at

has me thinking that QWCRSVAL *probably* returns the virtual serial
number, rather than the real one, but I want to be sure on this.
And the whole prior discussion seemed to have something to do with
virtualized boxes getting moved around from one LPAR to another, which
raises the question of MATMATR and LPAR IDs.
