I've finally stopped stalling, and am attempting to IPL the beast.
. . .
It had me worried for a few minutes, with SRCs counting up, but LAN
Console still "Connecting," but then, when I was about to ask for help,
LAN Console asked for a DST password.
After a bit of inconvenience, having to look up my DST password, it took
it, and opened a console terminal session. (I still like my emulator
better than the one IBM provides, although even that's more
aesthetically pleasing than, say, RUMBA.)
And I see a sign-on screen.
Thanks for the hand-holding.
