I've finally stopped stalling, and am attempting to IPL the beast.

It had me worried for a few minutes, with SRCs counting up, but LAN Console still "Connecting," but then, when I was about to ask for help, LAN Console asked for a DST password.

After a bit of inconvenience, having to look up my DST password, it took it, and opened a console terminal session. (I still like my emulator better than the one IBM provides, although even that's more aesthetically pleasing than, say, RUMBA.)

And I see a sign-on screen.
