Hello Roy

I'm a little confused on terms, too - I don't know what a WRKUSRJOB "session" is - that's just a command someone ran on a command line - it just gives a list of that user's or another user's jobs.

Do you want to cancel their 5250 screen? Or is there a command that is in a loop and needs to be stopped?

If they have a command line, maybe tell them to enter SIGNOFF ENDCNN(*YES) and press Enter

If there is a loop, a SYSREQ 2 will stop it - but there would not be a command line then.

Per Mr. Reeve's request for More Detail.

A remote user started a WRKUSRJOB session. We now want to stop that session. Due to security policies we cannot gain access to the system in question so I'm looking for a set of instructions the user can execute from the command line.

We also need the user to request a dump of a RPG application program (let's call it APP123) that blew up on bad data. Again I'm looking for a set of instructions the user can execute from the command line.

I think that we'll need a little more context to give you an accurate and useful answer.

All the best,
