assuming you are meaning to "split" the path_name into "directory" and "file"

Need more time to put together, but "locate_in_string" would be an option.

Is there a way to get a meaningful path and object name from your SQL?

Thanks,

Is there a way to list the objects in an IFS directory, that were
created on or after a specified date?

Yes. Use the find command.

See the -mtime parameter in the documentation.

https://man7.org/linux/man-pages/man1/find.1.html

Should work also on IBM i PASE.
