Simply put the actual IP address in the connection rather than depending on DNS.

Here's the solution I chose.
Added a DNS record with the same IP, new name (as400xyz)
Then in iACS => Management => System Configurations => add new system
Edit the connection settings to prompt for username and password every
time.
