DSPFD FILE() TYPE(*MBR) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) FILEATR(*PF) OUTFILE(QTEMP/XXXX) OUTMBR(*FIRST *REPLACE)
Will give you the statistics for reads/writes/updates/open/close since last ipl.
Run that twice and look at differences, keep in mind that an ipl will reset the counters.
