A client for whom I manage applications and regular tasks such as backup
procedures and user setup have a case where the firmware on the machine
requires an update.





The problems are:



A/ I have no idea how to access the functions required
to install the firmware from my location since I work remotely 100% of the
time.

B/ As far as I know (I am no expert) the client does
not have the HMC but all base configuration was using the LAN Console (not
that I have any persona experience of any of these)

C/ I have never performed a firmware update in my life.
However I expect that given access to the proper tools and a downloaded
service pack I could figure it out - eventually.



Any ideas on how to proceed??
