I read (actually, re-read, I think) the presentation that Pete referred me to, and there's very little that falls in the middle ground between "completely self-evident" and "completely over my head."

Up until this morning, I'd never heard of WildFly. Looking it up on Wikipedia, I see that it's the application server formerly known as JBoss AS. That, I've *barely* heard of. Am I to understand that it will run on a Midrange box? Is there a good tutorial for this?

We've got a V7R5 cloud box that I could probably use for experimentation and for learning how to get that option working.

Pete suggested having Apache httpd front the server, but is there an httpd for Midrange boxes?

He also mentioned OpenSSL. That's not even in our ecosystem (which uses JSSE), which may be a good thing: doesn't the use of OpenSSL require the now-deprecated Tomcat Native?
