FWIW

I highly recommend GUMBO's XLERATOR tool.
We use it extensively for 10 years or so and find it very useful.
Basically you create a temp file with the requested data (using any mean
you deem )
and call the tool to convert this file to Excel (or CSV or text...)
It also lets you create a multi-sheet Excel file from several A/M data
files.
