This is what I use:


SBMJOB CMD(JAVA CLASS('/home/prometheus/prom-client-ibmi.jar'))
JOB(PROMCLIENT) JOBQ(QUSRNOMAX)

This in turn starts two jobs.

That command is done from WRKJOBSCDE

We have the advanced job scheduler, but I use the old one to keep advanced
users responsible for the WRKJOBJS stuff out of system stuff?.Security by
obscurity in this case??
