You have to start NetServer on the 400. If you can map a network drive to the 400, it's just like your local PC. You don't need iSeries (Client) Access, really, you can start NetServer on the 400, and there's a tool in V5R2 in QUSRTOOL, starts with TZLS*, that gives you a green-screen interface to managing NetServer. Or just put OpsNav on the PC and be done with it.
