For videos to DVD I have an external Iomega SuperDVD QuikTouch drive (I
have one with USB attach, I think there's also a Firewire model).
I have one that reads/writes to CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW,
DVD-RAM
It doesn't need a video card - it's built in. Inputs are audio L/R and
both composite video (RCA jack) and S-Video (S-VHS connector).

Another solution I use for VHS (& Beta) to DVD doesn't even use my
computer. I have a Pioneer DVD-510H DVD/HDD Recorder (has an 80GB hard
disk drive). This writes to DVD-R & DVD-RW. Also has a firewire input
for DV camcorder connection.

(No, I don't work for Iomega or Pioneer, or own shares). :-)

Subject
[PCTECH] Question in Video & LP transfers to other media...

Hi Folks,

Any duping video tapes to CD. DVD or Windows Media Player/Real Player ?
This
involves home videos not pirating "store-bought" video's.

And along those same lines, is anyone familiar with how folks are taking
LP's and turning them into MP3'S ? Again, this would be for turning all my
old LP's into MP3's for personal use.

Thanks !

Chuck
