Do remember that a corporate firewall and your
average dsl/broadband router setups are very different.

Based on the size of the infection, I would surmise that either a) The virus doesn't propagate exclusively via the direct TCP connections or b) Most people aren't behind routers.


As I have stated before ... a NATing router does not allow external traffic in. It's not a mater of blocking ports ... the ports are not open to be blocked.
