I will put it this way. I have hated just about every webmail service
out there, except Gmail. They did webmail right! They automagically
thread your email so it is great for email lists like this, it is
fast, and supposively easy to search (haven't really used it much
yet). They don't use folders, they use filters (jury is still out on
that). And with 1 GB of space, it will take quite a while to fill up.
They support just about every browser and the ads are not even
noticable as they use the Google's ad sense technology.

Sorry, I don't have any invites available right now. Rumor has it that
Gmail will be going public in about a month or so. If you want to go
on my waiting list, follow the directions in my signature below and I
will send you one when I get another invite.

Also, there is many programs out there already that interface with
Gmail, so you can download your email into a local mail client if you
would like. I could talk about this all day, but that is the majority
of the features.
