oh yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!  <g>  My day has been made!  (How many
years have I been frustrated with this?)

In my case, F2 doesn't put the cursor up in the Formula Bar, but it does
keep the focus in the cell when using the <cursor arrow> keys, which works
for me!

The only deficiency is that you have to press F2 everytime you change focus
to another cell, but I think I can live with that.  It's a heckuvalot easier
than using the mouse!

BTW, I tried searching Excel's help, but it's definition for using F2 is
vague: "Edit the active cell and put the insertion point at the end of the
line".  Well, even if you don't use F2, once you tab into a cell, the cursor
appears at the end once you start typing.  I would have never guessed that
that would also allow me to use the <cursor arrow> keys!
