I know what web page you're referring to, but I've never checked it before 
I bought something and I've never bought anything that I couldn't connect 
to the iSeries properly.  We have about 30 HPs, 20 Zebra's, one Ricoh, and 
 one Dell connected to the iSeries.  All the printers are *LAN except for 
the Zebra's.

are you connecting this to iSeries? if so, make sure it is listed in
IBM's Knowledge Base. Brand name alone doesn't do it.
