My nieces and nephews have been using my QUERTY castoffs for years, starting around 2 years of age, so I see no problem with that. As an aside, an adult can change keyboard layouts fairly quickly. I learned the Dvorak layout about 20 years ago and it took me about 2 weeks to become a faster typist with it than with the QWERTY. Chuck
