In the big picture, yes.  If / when there is an outage, I'd pay much more
than that for service.  After taxes, it works out to under an extra dollar

day.  I work from my home, so in many ways the internet is my "lifeline"

my clients.  And since I work from home, my commute costs are pretty low
(<g>) so spending an extra $1/day seems justifiable.

= tax write-off = easier to justify
And, yeah, if reliability is a serious issue where you are, I wouldn't want
to be cutoff from my clients.

Must you absolutely positively have 24/7/365 access with no interruption?
