Jon, I have used JV16 power tools, found at; http://www.macecraft.com/ I believe they have a trial full version to download. I have purchased it, and use it occasionally to do some registry cleaning. It identified over 1,600 problems (not bad on a 12 month old machine!) - many of which relate to Symantec products that I thought I had banished from my machine after the last AV "upgrade" roasted the machine for over 24 hours!
