I believe that N81 is no parity, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit and that O71 is
odd parity, 7 data bits, 1 stop bit.  They are just abbreviating it so
N=None, E=Even, and O=Odd.

What is N81 and 071 parity?  It's the available parity setting  a config
program for a scanner but I've got to match with the com port on my PC,
which is either ODD, EVEN, NONE etc.
