Hi all,

I have a problem that is probably common to a lot of companies producing documentation like Functional and Design Specifications were there is a requirement to have a number of people review and make comments. In the old days (I'm 40+) the reviewers were generally in the same building and we would just send the printed document for review and have it returned with lots of red ink and post-it notes. Nowadays the reviewers are global and usually review a Word document with tracked changes and then the poor author has to pull all these different documents back into 1 version. It definitely takes longer than the old days and we have more iterations of reviewing than i think necessary.

So I'm trying to find an Internet based solution for allowing only invited people to get access and update with tracked changes and only have 1 copy of the document. Would Wiki provide an answer to my trouble or is there a better way?

Many thanks in advance and hope everyone is having a good weekend if it's your weekend now in your country.

Regards
Robin
