With all of today's talk of new PC's, what about notebooks? For the past
two years I've had a Fujitsu Lifebook on loan from the university I've
been attending. Next month I graduate and have to give it back (although
I'm not sure who would want it). I'm starting to look around. I'm on a
budget but want something good. Does anybody have any experience, good or
bad, with barebones notebooks? I've got a spare copy of XP Pro that I
could load if I got one. I've also briefly looked at some loaded systems
such as Dell. To me, a large hard drive and long battery life are worth
more than super speed.
