I thinking about installing Thunderbird on my PC and am trying to workout in my
mind how I want it set up before attempting the install. There will be at
least two e-mail accounts (gmail) and I want each one to download into a
separate 'inbox' to keep them separated. The interface and usability should be
as intuitive as possible.

My main question is if there will be a default inbox and I need to set up rules
to move messages into separate folders as I would in Outlook.

In addition, how is the sending account determined? I presume that it will use
the receiving account when replying, but what about new messages?
