We currently are using Paradox 4.5 for DOS on our network. The relationship with the software is getting tenuous now that almost all of the clients are now on Windows XP.

I'm looking for a networkable / multi-user database to replace this with. Paradox served its purpose well because it allowed simple data entry by just double-clicking on a table to create an all-field table entry screen. Users could also create ad-hoc queries and reports.

So far, I'm leaning toward Alpha 5's product, but I'd prefer to reduce that cost if possible. Anyone know of any other packages out there?
