This is a continuation of my networking problems. I ran an extra cable
so I now have the following setup:
Internet <--> DSL modem <--> Netgear router1 (10.1.1.1) <--> (10.1.1.2)
Proxy server (10.0.0.1) <--> 24-port 1Gb Switch1
Switch1 <--> (10.0.0.n) various PCs

|_______> 5-port 1Gb switch (Switch2) <--> (10.0.0.5) Netgear router2
<--wireless--> (10.0.0.n) various PCs
|
|_____> fiber optic link to another building <--> (uplink port) Linksys
hub (LAN ports) <--> (10.0.0.n) various PCs
In words, our DSL modem is connected to Router1 (10.1.1.1), which is
only connected to one NIC on the Proxy server (10.1.1.2).
The 2nd NIC on the Proxy server is connected to a 1Gb switch (Switch1),
which connects to various PCs, and to a 2nd 1Gb switch (Switch2).
Switch2 connects to Router2, which connects to a couple of computers
wirelessly; and it also connects to another building via fiber optic cable.
All the PCs can connect to the internet for a short period of time
(10-15 minutes), after which they cannot. To fix it, I simply
disable/enable the LAN NIC (10.0.0.1) on the Proxy server.
What is going on? Is some table related to the LAN NIC filling up?
