Well, it seems that I have successfully transferred my mail functions to
the new server. I know that primarily because of all the spam <grin>.
I've got a few kinks to work out, but right now I'm running what looks
to be a fast, stable arrangement of dovecot, postfix and spamassassin.
I'll add anti-virus via ClamAV and then I'm done.
The primary mvoe here was to go to IMAP in preparation for finally
ditching Outlook. That is my first step in weaning myself from
Microsoft. I have to say that Thunderbird and Firefox are pretty
impressive from my first uses of them. I'm particularly interested in
the Firefox add-on community; lot's of very cool stuff there.
