Having 2 ports isn't all it takes, is it? I thought I saw a card with a
D-sub and a DVI port but you could only hook up one or the other...
I've never seen one where it only supported one or the other, and I have
used a number of them over the years. What hasn't always played well is an
integrated motherboard video for one, and a video card for the other. But I
have used two video cards (one monitor each) and several varieties of dual
output cards. And two dual output cards for four monitors.
I don't use Vista, but I think there may be a limitation in Vista -- at
least when using Aero -- that all the adapters must use the same video
driver so when using multiple cards they may need to be the same
manufacturer. I've used mixed manufacturers just fine under XP Pro.
