Yeah, this is a bit torrent site - something like that - I was trying to put an image of a manuals CD for my car on there but never got a good reply.

They do have lots of Windows installation images, tailored and not needing any license key entered - already in there - and that would be a big part of copyright infringement - but is it the ones running the site that should bear the responsibility? The items do not reside on their server that I'm aware of - but the information on where pieces of things are.

Just to clarify. They have been sentenced, it will be appealed, but they have not been put behind bars yet.

But just to stirr some more interest. The issue here is copyright law - the exact same approach that powers the GPL to protect the open source software. Hence, we should be very interested in seeing how this turns out - as professionals :)
