*** POSTING THIS FOR A FRIEND ***

I'm looking for a software test suite that will run various components of Ethernet on a product we're developing through "their paces" an test interoperability. Basically I don't trust my vendor's FTP and TCPIP implementation with regards to supporting command conventions, file naming, file attributes, etc and I would like to stress their implementation so I at least KNOW where it breaks. We've primarily seen issues with FTP, so that is my foremost concern.

I also don't want to use a developer's time to 'monkey test' the product. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
