I have an associate who upgraded from RH 7.2 to RHEL ES Version 4. He has an
AcuCobol system that is failing with the following message: "Incorrectly
built binary addresses errno or h_errno directly. Needs to be fixed". I've
googled enough stuff to realize that <errno.h> should be included rather
than extern int errno. However, the AcuCobol system is old and he doesn't
have support, so I don't think the code can be changed.
Anyone know (or know how I can find out) is there's a compatibility module
or a fix for this in RH? Also, when one upgrades RH, is there a cumulative
PTF kind of process one follows after the install to get the latest service
packs?
Thanks!
