I got an invite just last week co-incidentally. Without any invites of my
own it's a bit hard to see what use it will be as I have no-one to
collaborate with and can't invite anyone. It's a bit like having my own
phone system - but no other phones are connected to my network.

In terms of functionality I'm very much reminded of ms one-note which I
quite like. One note was great for taking notes and putting cut and paste
snippets and links in the same page in a folder but the sharing part was
kind of wonky.

Wave looks like the sharing stuff could be useful - but I have no idea as
yet.

Regards
Evan Harris

It looks like a mix of Email, IM, Twitter, with collaboration features.
It'll be some time before people figure out uses for Wave. It took Twitter
over a year before people started to really see a use for Twitter. Once
developers start to bring in more features, it'll make it more interesting.

I have yet to hear someone say, "This is the best thing since Twitter".
Pretty much the reviews are ho-hum.

Yes, I'd be interested in checking it out also.

According to your tweet, you haven't been too impressed yet, though,
correct?

Thanks

Folks:

Anyone interested in a Google Wave invite? I've got a handful to give
out.
