Yep, that way leads nowhere, unfortunately. Lenovo has learned how to
make really shitty websites from IBM.

Well, I've upgraded our entire laptop fleet using MDP2010 and the
Lenovo Windows 7 driver site (T60/R60 and newer), and everything works
as it should.

By the way the Windows Easy Transfer Utility ROCKS!

I prefer using USMT and the Custom-Install-Without-Reformat, as it
does not require an external drive, offers the same featureset as
USMT, and gives a fast & easy migration path to x64 Windows.
