It would be fun to have one but it still seems a little expensive to me.
My biggest beef is that it doesn't have a hard drive. Flash memory would
be OK if you could replace it yourself. When you consider that it doesn't
multitask, have a camera or hdmi output, it gets a little harder to
justify the expense. I haven't heard if you can replace the battery
yourself but I would be surprised if you can. I can browse the web in
front of the TV just fine with my laptop. I do love my 5th gen iPod for
mobile music, podcasts, and video. If I read a lot of e-books it looks
like it could be more versatile than a Kindle ...but I don't read e-books.
Having said all of that, I wouldn't mind having one as a toy if I could
get it for netbook prices but then Apple does have a habit of charging a
premium for its products.
