Today _all_ of their name servers are up and down (mostly down) and it
is causing me no end of grief. Not a word about the problems on their
support page of course!

Anyone got any suggestions for a good alternative host? I'm not too
keen on GoDaddy - heard too many nasty stories but any suggestions
welcome. Of course if the servers don't come back I may never see you
response but ...

Well, I've been using GoDaddy for years and have had zero problems with
them.

They offer good support (even if it's not toll free), good service, and very
good prices.

I originally used Network Solutions & Register.com ... but the price's they
charged did not justify the service they offered.
