I just found out yesterday, we were on a spam block list for over 1.5

I wouldn't be concerned about it. If you aren't hearing noise, it is
probably not an issue. Either that, or your mailings are not missed by
the
recipients ?-)

Actually, depending on the block list ... it *IS* something to be
concerned with. Some mail server's block mail out of hand if it comes from
a server that's on a block list. So if your mail server is on a block
list, there's a fairly good chance that mail isn't going to be delivered.

My comment was for this situation. Since Mike isn't hearing about it, it
likely doesn't merit much worry.

Reasonable minds can disagree .. perhaps this should serve as a warning ..
but I am not inclined to think so.

There are a few RBL monitoring services available ... but you need to be
careful about what they report. One that I found recently is RBLMon
https://www.rblmon.com

Sometimes, when a RBL is shut down, the operators configure it to always
return a positive result.

Signing up for RBLMon is a good idea, but beyond that, it is easy to waste
time worrying about this issue. IMHO the cost/benefit of paying attention
to this is pretty low until there is actually a real problem. I could be
wrong, but I imagine Mike already has 60 hours of work to do in every 40
hour week.
