Windows 7 has image backup built in. I've used it many times. Make sure
you have a repair disk as well. If you need to restore the image you've
got to boot from the repair disk.

I'm going to make an image backup of my Win7 PC before I upgrade to Win10.
I've been pruning files, about 60GB worth. Normally, I'd wipe deleted file
space with blanks so that the image backup could compress that space
easily, but this is the first time I've done an image backup of an SSD
drive. So, I am wondering whether anyone can recommend a free image backup
that ignores unallocated disk space. I am backing up to DVD.
