Jon, I don't know which newsletters are the most read, etc. but overall they seem like a very good value. My observation is that for a beginner - intermediate they are an excellent value. We have been receiving the Java newsletters from News/400 and Midrange Computing since they came out and I am certain they have saved us over 50 hours and given us easy to digest examples that we could actually use and improve. David Morris >>> <Jon.Paris@halinfo.it> 09/23/99 07:53AM >>> One of the reasons for the existence of the RPG Source was that the main magazine was considered by many readers (including me) to be becoming too esoteric and "latest / greatest / sexiest" oriented at the expense of solid technical info that applied to today. The magazine didn't want to change, so Gary persuaded them to try a newsletter format. Much of the risk in launching the newsletter was Gary's now Duke's and I commend him for the work he has done. I suspect that it is the only one of their newsletters to really make any money but I don't know that - I'm forwarding this note and the original to Gary and will post any response I receive. +--- | This is the RPG/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to RPG400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to RPG400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to RPG400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
