To expand, comma separated variable, or CSV, is a recognized way of
transferring data between different programs. The general format is, all
fields are trimmed (trailing blanks removed), strings are enclosed in double
quotes (") and commas are inserted between fields. So, for a record that
contained:

123.45 Jim Langston Conex Global Logistics Services, Inc. 789
the CSV line would look like:

123.45,"Jim Langston","Conex Global Logistics Services, Inc.",789

Excel will import from and export to CSV, as will Access and other programs.

Regards,

Jim Langston
