U can either control by using ur own logic or by using 'L' specification
in rpgII(u can define your form length and overflow line).
I did not understand your second question .Since When you create a spool
file it will be automatically sent to the default printer or to some other
printer if you have used
a>SUBJOB
b>OVRPRTF
commands in CL which calls your main RPG program.
Generally when I use RPGIII ,
1>I define an overflow indicator with the printer file in F specs
2>SKIPB for the header record of the printer file.
3>Write the header record only if *in12 = on .(Infact first page
header record printing u got to have ur own logic since the
overflow indicator will be off.)
You can change the default overflow line of printer file by command chgprtf
. default is 60.
