Well, you piqued my curiousity. I read the help on option 16 and saw: 16=Run procedure Type 16 to run a source member with a member type of REXX, OCL36, BASP, or BASP38. If you try to run a member with a type that cannot be run, you receive an error message. To run an OCL36 procedure, the file name must be QS36PRC. You can have the member run in batch mode or interactively depending on what you specified in the Run in batch prompt on the Change Defaults display. What member type is this, REXX? raul@abc.com.py on 07/27/2000 08:32:14 AM Please respond to RPG400-L@midrange.com@Internet To: RPG400-L@midrange.com@Internet cc: Fax to: Subject: Re: Outputting a very specific character Someting like this? Create a spurce member, copy and paste this line, and run it (16) SAY 'Hex:' C2X(' ') 'Decimal:' C2D(' ') 'Char:' ' ' You should get the codes in the page you are using in the computer where you try, you can create a D line with the constant. __________________________________________________________________ John.R.Finney@sb.com wrote: > > Hi All, > > Firstly, it's been a long time since I've posted to this list but I have been > reading often and find the last few months have been pretty much interesting. > > Now to my problem. . . > > I'm busy writing a program which formats fields and outputs to a file >CSV-style > (ie. quotations around the strings, comma-delimited, etc...).
