RNF7421S Operands are not compatible with the type of operator.

The %SubSt is highlighted as the error.  What is wrong with this code?

I changed %TrimL(ThisLine): to 'XXX': to test, and same error.

Is RPG trying to do an assignment instead of a comparison?  What am I doing
wrong?
