Why suspect yourself?  SEU has never quite got the hang of RPG having
multi-line statements.  Have you tried saving and compiling anyway?  I have
found that SEU s a very unreliable guide when RPG IV is concerned.

There have also been a couple of "burps" in the V5 releases that got PTFd in
the compiler but may not have been fixed in SEU.  jlpex and CODE have no
problem with it - although jlpex did get upset until I forced it to "see"
both lines by making a change to the first line (I overtyped a space with a
space - a technique that also works in SEU).

What's a modern right thinking lad like you doing using SEU anyway!
