That's the beauty of it. Instead of relying the user to respond to
cryptic messages like RPG.... and trying to figure out if the:
-File is deleted
-Record format level check
-Insufficient security
-etc.
You can handle that directly in your RPG.
Open (e) MyFile;
Select;
When not %error;
NormalProcessing();
When %status=01215;
// file is already opened
Other;
// generic error handler
EndSl;

Whoa. What happens if the file or the member doesn't exist at runtime?
Will you
get a runtime error that prevents the program from executing? (The RPG
Reference
doesn't specify.)
Also, SEU allows these keywords, but they are not defined in the help.
