They do really want Arial though and from what I can remember POSITION
keyword is not allowed with SKIP, SPACEA, SPACEB keywords etc.
For the record format DETL16 (as in my last email) I need the above keywords
as it is a record that makes up the body of the report and is repeatedly
written.

The overlays themselves to the best of my knowledge are not causing me the
problem I am having I think as Marco said it is the fonts however thinking
out loud if there was a 'Monospaced font' that was close to looking like
Arial perhaps this would solve my problem ???!!

I shall have a look at the Printer Programming book which is in the Info
Center as you suggested perhaps it might list Monospaced fonts
