Doc, > Danger. Do not use parenthesis "()" with this BIF. If you do, the compiler > will interpret the entire expression as an array. %PARMS isn't a function, > it's a value. I use %parms() all the time, it doesn't cause problems here. Perhaps you're on an old release? I think that adding the () to the end was first enabled in V5R1 (two full releases ago!)
