Definitely. I went to RPG World last time, not to learn about RPG, but
rather to learn more about how things should be presented. One of the main
things that I took from the conference was the importance of explaining
"WHY" -- I saw that the instructors there did a good job of this, but that
I hadn't been.

To paraphrase (since I don't remember the exact words) something that Jon
Paris told me about how to present:

First you have to make people understand why they should care about the
subject.  Once you've got them interested, THEN you can explain how to do
it...
